I heard this from someone else’s post on Hip2Save. I don’t know if it is true but makes sense to me… Did you notice the difference between the crayola coupon and the rest of the coupons in the newspaper insert? Its just one long bar code with a few numbers on top. That is how all coupons will be formatted and will be common within the next few months. Dropping off the first part of the UPC (which is the family code that people de-code – ie using .75/1 Fiber One coupons on Cheerios), so cheating the system will be harder. (per Melissa)

I just printed these coupons and sent my husband to Wal-Mart! Hopefully we can get the deal! When I printed the coupons there are no numbers below the barcode and several of my coupons have been doing that lately from coupons.com…is there a reason for this? I tried to use one of them at Walgreens the other day and the barcode wouldn’t scan and since there were no numbers she couldn’t type them in…which stinks!
