When thinking about cute Valentine’s ideas, you might think you need to invest a great deal of time or money. But the reality is, there are many cheap Valentine’s Day ideas out there that you too can create for little to nothing! In fact, why not make a quick trip to your local dollar store or Walmart and see how easy it is to whip up your own Valentine’s table decorations on the cheap? And the best part? It will still look chic!

Take a peek at how you can create your own whimsical Valentine’s Day table decor on a dime!

Supply List:

  • Vase (Purchased at Dollar Tree for $1.00)
  • Candy Hearts (Purchased at Dollar Tree for $1.00)
  • Ribbon (Purchased at Wal-Mart for $1.47)
  • Hot glue gun

The nice thing is you won’t need your entire bag of candy or entire roll of ribbon to complete this activity. That will leave plenty of leftovers for future crafts!

  • Pour the candy hearts in the vase.
  • Place the tea light candle on top.
  • Move around hearts so that the candle can sink down a little.
  • Use a hot glue gun to secure your ribbon (just cut it to fit) around the vase. Place a small glue dot to secure the ribbon where it overlaps.

How sweet is that? You can make a couple of these and place them at the center of your table, or even whip some of these up to give as gifts. The pastel colors of the candy, the glow of the candle, and the sparkling glass make the finished product look so sweet and chic!
