Here’s a fun idea for this S’mores Party Mix recipe that would be a great treat for any backyard campout or slumber party! Just add flashlights, a pop-up tent and some sleeping bags for a complete campout experience, without the need for an actual S’mores roasting campfire

We thought it would be fun to countdown to Christmas each night with a fun Christmas craft, recipe, family tradition and all things holly jolly.
This week has been filled with Christmas baking at the Trenum home. Earlier this week, we made Party Mix, Snowman Crunch, and Christmas sugar cookies!! I was feeling really behind, until then. Still lots of baking to do but at least we got started. In case you are looking for easy recipes to make with your kids, my kids helped with these! During the month of December we are still following our healthy eating at meal time as often as possible but we do add in special treats we make.

Easy Summer Salsa Recipe
Jamie here, my husband’s favorite words that come out of my mouth are probably “I think I’ll make Salsa today!” His face lights up, as do the boys’, with unadulterated joy. It’s an understatement to say that my whole family loves Mexican food – so when I make my salsa recipe, I usually do a triple batch. That way I can use it over the next few days in any other Mexican recipes I wind up cooking. Plus – it tastes even BETTER the second day…
