My Funny Valentine Flower Craft

Start by pulling out a couple sheets of the Sunday comics. Stack 4or 5 on top of one another and using a coffee filter or small bowl – trace a circle around them.  Cut it out.

Next, you’ll want to fold each circle in half three or four times until it resembles a triangle.  To make them look more like petals, cut a curve around the wide end.  Mix it up and cut an extra dip into one or a double scallop so the end result will be a little more frilly.  Once they’re all snipped, unfold each one and stack your petals onto one another and pinch the pointed end together tightly.   Using a bread tie, secure the ends.  Finally, fluff out the petals and secure it with a clothespin to a sweet note to your own “funny Valentine”

Valentine’s Day is a great time to gather the family around the television and enjoy a family friendly movie together. The Valentine’s Day season is such a short one, that it can be easy to miss the airings of Valentine’s Day themed television movies.
