UPDATE: Okay so I’ve done two days of workouts now, and I really enjoyed them! Starting with the “True Beginner” workouts, I chose Justin for my trainer. He focuses on regaining core strength, range of motion, and just kind of eases you back into working out if you’ve been sitting hunched over a desk for the last year. (It was a lot like Pilates, actually) He was super encouraging and the music was uplifting and relaxing – I felt so much more relaxed and at ease after this workout than with anything else I’ve ever tried.
Jamie here! Now that my kids are back in school – I’ve been promising myself that it’s time to get back in shape. I’ve been looking for a good living-room workout to start with and I keep seeing the Daily Burn commercials so I thought…. why not? Right now they’re offering a FREE 30-Day trial of their fitness program and I’ve decided to give it a shot. I’m really excited to do today’s first workout!! (I just seriously need to let those 3 cups of coffee settle for a few more minutes)
Consider me your guinea pig – in case you’re thinking about it too
You can choose from several workout styles, with the ability to stream on several devices – including Roku, Playstation 3, XBox, Fire TV, iPhones, and more.
Choose how much time you have – from 15 minutes, 30 minutes or more – and your level of current fitness and where you want to end up. That way your not trying to just get fit and lean while the instructor is trying to get you “ripped”.
I think the dance workout sounds particularly fun, though I’m most definitely signing myself up as a “True Beginner” so I can build on my strength and balance first of all I think if I can get my husband to try it with me it would be a fun way for us to keep each other accountable!
And if you’re wondering, yes this is a monthly program that will normally run $10 per month. However, you can cancel ANYTIME before the 30 days is up to avoid paying a dime. (I just set my Google Calendar reminder!)
