Spring Skincare & Teeth Whitening
*Also – see my DIY Brown Sugar Scrub Recipes HERE!
I’ve been searching for Spring Skincare tips that I can add to my facial care routine – which has been pretty nonexistent all winter. My skin is dry and flaky and also a little oily – and just yuck! To be honest – I didn’t start feeling like I was in my 30′s until lately when my skin started to really look it. Now I’m on a mission… to get back my healthy skin.
So like I said – I’ve been scouring the internet for new tips and products to try, and I’m feeling confident that some of these products are going to bring some life back into my skin. I’m so excited (I’m on Amazon placing an order right now)- I’ll share with you what I’m getting, but first here’s the video that inspired all of these purchases!
I’m sharing this video with you because I think it has some great suggestions for natural, fairly inexpensive products to use. For instance, have you been hearing about how amazing Argan Oil is supposed to be for your face and hair? I’m about to find out if it’s true! I just ordered a bottle…
This video is about Jaclyn Hill’s Skincare Routine & Teeth Whitening Secret (Links to all the products she uses are listed at the bottom of this post)
I’d never heard of her before stumbling upon her video on Pinterest – but she’s a professional makeup artist who has a pretty large YouTube following. I promise that after you watch this video you’re going to want to try all the stuff she uses. Just because she says so. It’s kinda weird.
Be forewarned though, watching this woman talk about herself feels a little like watching Real Housewives. You want to flip the channel, but you just can’t look away… At least you’ll learn something useful
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products and what you use in your own skincare routine!
Products Used in Skincare Routine & Teeth Whitening Video:
*The oil she uses in the video is Josie Maran Argan Oil - but this kind got great reviews and is about 75% less expensive
Organic Cane Sugar 1lb – $3.99
*I’ve actually used brown sugar as an exfoliant many times – but it scratches my skin, so I’ll be trying this one!
Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleasing Gel – $12
Mario Badescu Glycolic Foam Cleanser (6.0 oz) – $15
Mario Badescu Cucumber cleansing lotion – $15
Mario Badesco Collagen moisturizer – $22
Mario Badescu Rosewater Facial spray - $7
While some of these products are a splurge – and not a coupon in sight! – I feel that an investment in this face is a pretty good one, since I have to live with it for the rest of my life.
