I’m not normally a Kmart kinda girl – I’ve had some hassles in the past during the old Double Coupon days that left me wary. However – I decided that this was the week to get my feet wet there again – so between kid school pickups I headed in for just a few good deals. I didn’t bring ANY coupons with me this week- because I was relying on the Mars tearpad I’d heard existed…
Here’s what I bought:
- (5) Bags of Mars Salty & Sweet Snackmix $2.50 = $12.50 (I found the $1/1 tearpad, yay!)
- (1) Ground Chuck Package $2.99
- American Cheese Slices $.89 – FREE w/ground chuck purchase
- Hamburger Buns $1.49 – FREE w/ground chuck purchase
- K.C. Masterpiece BBQ Sauce $1.79 – FREE w/monthly in-ad coupon
- (1) Capri Sun Juice Boxes = $2
- (1) Smart Sense Bottled Water 35-pack – $3.50
Total Before Coupons = $25.16
Since my total reached $25 before coupons – that means 5 of my coupons ($1 and under) will double. Then all my other discounts will deduct as well (The Beef deal and the KC Masterpiece deal). Here’s what happened next:
- Used (5) $1/1 Mars Snackmix Coupons (found in the tearpad on the display they were in) = $10 Off
- Free Buns, Cheese and K.C. Masterpiece = $4.17 Off
- Received a $5 Kmart Giftcard for buying $10 or more in Mars SnackmixTotal After Coupons, Freebies, and Giftcard = $5.99
