Jamie’s Kraft Cheese Trip – 10 Bags for $10!

After we got our abundance of wonderful Kraft Printable Coupons this morning, I started printing (and so did my hubby) and I headed over to Cooke’s (a local grocery) where they’re running a Gimme 5 Promotion. (Buy 10 Select Items ~ Get $5 Off Instantly) Kraft Shredded and Chunk Cheese is on sale this week for just $1.99, so here’s what I did with my coupons:

- $1/2 Kraft Shredded Cheese PRINT (Direct Link)
- $1/2 Kraft Chunk Cheese PRINT (Direct Link)

Buy (10) Kraft Shredded Cheese $1.99 = $19.90
- $5 Gimme Five Instant Savings
- $5 in Coupons (5 $1/2 coupons)
(makes it $10 for all 10 bags, or $1 each!)

This is a great price for shredded cheese, and since you can freeze it for later, it’s a great candidate for stockpiling. I make sausage balls a few times during the holiday season, so I definitely needed to get my cheese stockpile started :)

I’d love to hear what kind of deals you’re finding at a store near you – leave your deals in the comments!

  1. Also, I didn’t know you could freeze cheese. Is this just for the shredded, or can you freeze the blocks also? Does it taste the same when it thaws? Thanks!

    • Christie – you can free shredded cheese with great results, though I have also frozen chunk cheese. I will say that’s it’s probably best if you plan to use it in a recipe where it’s melted.

  2. If you have a Food World nearby, they have Kraft block and shredded cheese BOGO. The normal price is $3.99, but some packages are priced at a special price of $2.79. If you get the $2.79 packages and use one of the above-mentioned coupons, you get two blocks or shredded bags for a total of $1.79!
