capital-one-blackfriday

If you’re only able to do ONE Black Friday deal – this is the one you don’t want to miss! Capital One 360 is offering up to *$200* for trying out their Checking or Savings accounts right now.   I LOVE when this special comes around each year – it’s a fantastic way to put extra money in your pocket when we need it most!

Here’s the scoop on this once-a-year bonus:

  1. Open a Capital One 360 Checking Account to get $100
  2. Open a Capital One 360 Savings Account to get $100 more
  3. = $200 to help out with post-holiday bills :)

How to cash in on this HOT offer:

1) Go to Capital One 360  between NOv. 28 – Dec. 1 and take 5 minutes to open a 360 Fee-Free Checking Account to earn $100.  Make an initial deposit of $250 in your account, and then make 5 debit card purchases or Mobile Deposits within the next 45 days.

2) PLUS, earn an additional $100 for opening a Capital One 360 No-Fee Savings account between Nov. 28 – Dec. 1.  Make an initial deposit of $1000 to receive your $100 Bonus.

3) The $100 bonuses will be automatically deposited into each account by Day 50. After that, choose to keep your accounts with them or not.  I loved the checking account so much that we kept it – I LOVE their Fee-Free checking!

The nitty gritty on checking:

  • This has to be your (or your joint account holder’s) first 360 Checking Account (including Electric Orange checking)
  • The 5 Debit Card purchases can either be signature or PIN-based
  • Your $100 bonus will be automatically deposited into your account on day 50

The nitty gritty on savings:

  • This has to be your (or your joint account holder’s) first 360 Savings Account (including Orange savings Accounts)
  • The bonus starts earning interest on day 1, but you can’t take it our for at least 30 days
  • The variable Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is 0.75%
  • This account must be funded from a source outside of Capital One 360, In other words, your initial deposit can not be transferred from an existing Capital One 360 account.

My Personal Experience: Both my friend Debbie and I took advantage of this offer a few years back (It worked beautifully!)  The fee-free checking is awesome, no overdraft fees every is like a dream come true for this scatterbrain ;)

Something good to know which I didn’t read until after I opened the savings account is that the $500 has to stay in the account for a month and then you get the bonus. The fact that I can’t touch that money may make it impossible to get the bonus, but I’ll try.
