DIY Halloween Centerpiece (Just $3 to make!)

If you’re looking for a cute and inexpensive Halloween Centerpiece to make this Fall – here’s an idea that takes hardly any time and uses items found mostly at the Dollar Tree!

Fall is my favorite season – and I love to do it up right for the kids (and the kid in me).   I headed to the Dollar Tree this week to check out the Fall decor and figure out what I could use for a Halloween Centerpiece for the kitchen table.  Here’s what you’ll need to make this easy project:

  • Felt Spiderweb $1
  • Bag of Candy Corn $1
  • Burlap Ribbon (or strip of burlap) – I paid about $3 for a HUGE roll at Hobby Lobby that I was using for other projects anyway. (It was on sale 40% off with the weekly coupon)
  • A glass bowl or short wide vase and a candle from around your house

Find a large glass vase or decorative bowl (If you don’t already have one, you can get on at the thrift store or dollar store pretty cheaply).  Wrap a piece of burlap ribbon around it and fasten the ends with a couple strait pins.

Place the candle in the center of the bowl – and if you need to lift it up a little so it reached flush with the top of your bowl, place something under it (like a candle jar lid, or mason jar lid).  Pour candy corn around the outside.  Voila!

Now if you can keep the kids from eating it all – or keep yourself from eating it all – you’ll have a pretty centerpiece to brighten your table all Fall!
