In case you need to brush up on your Drugstore Coupon Policies this year – I thought we’d do a quick overview of the policy changes that have been made recently. CVS put out a printable coupon policy back in September 2011. Here are the main points of CVS’ Coupon Policy:
- You can stack a manufacturer coupon with a CVS coupon
- Only 1 Manufacturer Coupon per Item
- If your coupon is more than the price of the item, CVS will adjust the value of the coupon down to the item
- You can use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO item to get both items FREE
(While not specifically stated, this is almost always true.) - CVS does NOT take competitor coupons
- CVS rainchecks never expire AND you will get your ECB’s on the item (if it was supposed to receive ECB’s)

When u say that CVS will adjust the value of a coupon down, please specify that doesn’t include manufacturer coupons! This pertains to CVS coupons. It’s coupon fraud to adjust manufacturer’s coupons.
