Save-a-Lot Ad & Coupon Deals (4/1 – 4/7)

We don’t normally do a Save-a-Lot Ad with matchups – but with Easter coming, it’s nice to have a few more options for things you might need for the dinner table!  I live right down the street from Save-a-Lot, so I stop in there quite a bit for produce or butter, etc…

Save-a-Lot Ad Matchups, $5 Coupon, & Sweepstakes!

We don’t normally do a Save-a-Lot Ad with matchups – but there were actually a LOT of really good deals this week with the 10 for 10 sale that ends on 2/11.  I live right down the street from Save-a-Lot, so I stop in there quite a bit for produce or hamburger buns, etc…

They sometimes have really great special buys – and their everyday low prices on house brands (canned goods, coffee creamer, etc..) are cheap options when I’m not on the top of my coupon game.  Hey, everyone needs a break sometimes, right?

FREE Sauer’s Spices – (sent in by DealDetectiveKim)
Using $1/1 coupons from 6/19 SS

I made a quick run into Sav-A-Lot in Red Bank yesterday to pick up a couple of produce items.  What did my wandering eye spy but Sauer’s spices for .99!  I wasn’t even sure if they TOOK coupons, so I hadn’t brought my binder in (but it was in the car).  While checking out with my produce, I asked the cashier and she said yes, they do take coupons.  So I went to the car, grabbed the *8* $1/1 Sauer’s spices Qs I had and hustled back inside.  There wasn’t a huge variety, but I got whole black peppercorns, pickling spice, dill weed, ground mustard, allspice, whole cloves and turmeric.  They also had dill seed and alum.  The Sauer’s stuff was not with the rest of the spices, it was in a corner next to the canning supplies.  Since there was a penny overage on each item, I picked up a box of salt (.39) to soak up the overage, but they charged full tax so it turned out that wasn’t necessary.  I ended up paying .95 for 8 spices and a box of salt!!

If you find a great deal at Save-a-Lot, please let us know in the comments!

Save-A-Lot Coupon Book & Printables

I shop at Save-A-Lot pretty often, mostly because it’s really close to my house and I’m the forgetful sort – which means 10 minutes into dinner I recall that I didn’t buy ground beef for the chili.  Save-A-Lot here I come!  This week ground beef was on sale for $1.29/lb – and that’s just a flat-out good price.  Bananas are usually 33¢/lb.  Fresh Express Salad bags have been 50¢ for months now.  The produce deals there are just awesome.

I say all that so poor Save-A-Lot won’t feel bad when I say I also use them for their printable coupons.

Besides their simple set-up and dependable deals on staples, my other favorite part about Save-A-Lot is that they offer printable coupons on their website.  These are all store coupons, so I usually end up using them at Publix.

In addition to printables, they have a REALLY GOOD Proctor & Gamble coupon booklet that they’ll send you if you sign up HERE.

The coupons in the booklet have a Save-A-Lot logo somewhere on them, but they’re all manufacturer coupons – so use them wherever they’ll work!

P.S. - Occasionally they even have good tearpads in there!  But shhhh, don’t tell, it’ll be our secret….
