I use croutons, or make my own out of older bread or the ‘hills’ of loaf bread, to make tuna patties. For small batch, 1 can tuna drained, 1 egg, handful of croutons crushed up, 1tsp pickle juice(hides fishy flavor). Mix up and fry in shallow amt. of oil. This is super easy, very good and cheap! I tell my kids they are fish patties b/c they say they don’t like “tuna”!

I just wanted to give a thought to the cheap croutons from Bi-Lo. i have found they work great as coatings for chicken breasts, tenders or nuggets and pork chops. Just pour the croutons in a grinder or magic bullet and then dip your meat. Makes GREAT crispy coatings for food. And quick!
