Bi-Lo: Gwaltney Hot Dogs for $.10! (Perfect for Mummy Dogs)

UPDATE: It looks like this coupon is NOT doubling for many of our readers – but for a couple it’s working.  This is YMMV(Your mileage may vary) on whether or not your cashier doubles this coupon or not. If not – they will be $.55 per pack!

Time2Save Reader Waynette left this *HOT* Tip on our Facebook Page – and I’m so glad she did!  Right now at Bi-Lo, the Gwaltney Great hot dogs (16oz) are on sale for $1.  We got a $.45/1 coupon in the 9/30 Smart Source for any Gwaltney Product – making them just $.10 each!

These would be perfect for making “Mummy Dogs” for a quick Halloween Dinner before heading out to Trunk or Treat :)  Those are just too cute – my kids would love them!

And in the Not-So-Cute category, is this “Worms in the Mud” hotdog recipe I saw on the Gwaltney Site.  Ewww…..   Just No.

Do you have any cute or …weird hot dog recipes?  Let’s hear ‘em!

Used these coupons twice at my store, including this morning and they doubled automatically. Not sure why some stores are different.

  2. Sandra says

Just to let you know, I had 2 of the 45cent Qpons for these hot dogs and my Qpons DID NOT double! Don’t know why but they didn’t. So I paid 55cents each for them instead of 10cents each.

Thanks Sandra – it looks like it’s working for some people and not for others – I guess it depends on whether or not your cashier manually doubles it or not. Thanks for the heads up!

I am amazed at the differences in this coupon. My cashier did not manually double the coupon. She just scanned it and it doubled. I am hoping my extra coupons come in today’s mail, so I can get a few for our church’s mission.

the coupons do not automatically double… first time I have ever seen this considering the coupons start with a 5 BUT …. They start with a 5, but it’s in the small print not to double. I tried this earlier today :( still, cheap hotdogs even though they don’t double. :(
