Looking for a fun treat to bring to a Memorial Day or 4th of July cookout? These 4th of July Fruit “Sparklers” are easy, cheap and yummy! Once you’ve eaten/used up most of your watermelon – use the bottom of the melon for a sparkler holder. Just shove it in a bowl/bucket of ice to keep it cold and sitting upright!
- Watermelon
- Blueberries
- Marshmallows
- Bamboo Skewers
- Cut your watermelon into chunks, balls or triangles. If you don’t have mini-marshmallows, just use scissors to cut the large ones into 4 even pieces. Slide the fruits and marshmallows onto the skewers creating a red, white and blue pattern.
- You can either set your fruit sparklers on a platter – or present them by sticking the skewers in the leftover half of your watermelon!
