Each night leading up to Christmas, we’ll be posting a craft, recipe or tradition to help you have some Christmas fun with your family.  If you’d like to share one that your family enjoys – please email us at time2saveworkshops@gmail.com!  We’ll possibly feature you one night this month!

What screams Christmas more than lights, parades, and Christmas trees? Peppermints of course, but even better, peppermint bark!
My mom makes this all the time. I love it, but  all along I had NO idea how easy it was to make! So if you like to make peppermint bark, or even if it’s your first time, Lets all jump in together! Make sure to include the kids, they will love making this!

Baked By Rachel has an amazing recipe for fun festive  snowflake  Peppermint Bark. I have to admit it is just amazing.  I recently  used this recipe to create my own peppermint bark which was a huge success!  I used  plastic Christmas themed cookie cutters that contained a snowman, Christmas tree  and others.  I also had a few revisions as I completely crushed the candy canes until they were  pretty much powder.  Instead of placing it in the fridge for a longer period of time, I placed it in the freezer for a few minutes.  My 3 year old couldn’t stand seeing the snowmen without faces so we  also used some of the melted chocolate to design faces onto my snowmen  and to   decorate the trees.

Many thanks go out to Baked By Rachel for such an amazing recipe!
