CVS has a few little freebies for the 1/8 – 1/14 Ad, but I’m MOST excited about the Finish Powerball Deterget for $.24 each!! I’ll also be getting in on the Stayfree Pads for just $.68. (Those 2 deals are part of the CVS Cash Card Deal, scroll down to the bottom for that section!)

oh i am so thankful to find a local coupon site!! i have a question.. i am wanting to do a deal on the rembrandt toothpaste and rinse. i need a total of 4 toothpastes and 4 rinses. i checked two local cvs stores and neither had any rinse (didnt even see the sticker on the shelf) and only one store had a single tube of the paste left. both these items are listed in the ad. i wanted to ask for a raincheck but is 4 of each asking too much? i dont want to be a shelf clearer!!!
Andria – I would NOT say that 4 of anything is being a shelf clearer, especially if you’re getting a raincheck for something! You can come back in 2 months if you like to get this deal – it doesn’t matter when, just when stock is there, you can do the deal. I actually PREFER getting rainchecks when possible, because I hate taking very limited stock when everyone else in town is hoping to do the deal. I don’t mind coming after the rush and getting my handy-dandy rainchecks
The coupons that I received didn’t have the 2.15 for the Finish at all. I also tried to use (2) of the Axe bogo free coupons and the CVS here would not allow me to use but one. I still got a good deal on some other things. Thank you so much for this website, it has helped me out alot.
Kelly – my paper didn’t have those either, but we ordered some from Ebay. I wish we all got the same coupons, don’t you? Can you tell me more about the Axe deal? Would they only let you use one coupon on 2 items (because that is correct), or 1 BOGO coupon on more than that?
I, for one, have to disagree about the dishwasher comments. Our store had over 100 ordered and stocked 20 at a time. They get another delivery on Tuesday. I bought 7 with no regrets. I was the first person to purchase them (yesterday at 11:30 at night) and came NO WHERE CLOSE to clearing a shelf. So, thanks to Time 2 Save for letting me know about a great deal, I’m stocked up for a while
I have always been told that you can not receive a raincheck on the giftcard scenario items if they still have the other items in stock. I agree that suggesting people go and buy 9 of the same item is perposterious. Last weeks suggestion about Charmin has led to my local store cracking down and monitoring us. Limit 3 on almost everything now, especially the Charmin.
Heather, I have been able to get a raincheck on a giftcard deal – however, since it’s not exclusively mentioned in the coupon policy, it’s up to each individual store whether or not they’ll allow this.
i do not have the coupon for the 2.15 off finish. Was it in the 1/1 paper?
How will the coupons for 2.15 off the finish work at CVS? The coupons are for 25ct or higher and you have that the sale is for 10-20ct….
Carol – the coupons for the $2.15/1 are for Finish Quantum 25ct+ or any size Powerball or Gelpacs. The company has been contacted to verify this – but the 25+ Count refers only to the Finish Quantum. Thanks for asking! I’ll add an extra note in the list.
Thanks for listing all of the good deals, but I need to say that suggesting that anyone buy 9 boxes of dishwasher detergent at a pharmacy pretty much knocks out anyone but that one person from getting any. I have completely given up on CVS and Wags because of this very thing. They NEVER have anything on the shelf by the time I get there and they rarely replenish throughout the week. I guess I have wasted enough gas and time to know better than to try, but many people new to coupononing do not. Also, a good way to get on the nasty list at a store is to force them to seperate your purchase into five seperate transactions. I love cheap/free as much as anyone, but I’ll never need detergent that badly.
Holly – I agree that your local CVS has probably only stocked around 20 boxes, and I’m sure I won’t get my 9 boxes either on the first try
However, knowing that going in – I plan to get a raincheck. CVS Rainchecks NEVER expire – and you can keep it in your binder until your store gets more in stock next week.
You can certainly mix-n-match the Dishwasher Detergent with other items to get to your $30 total – like the Stayfree deal – but this is just one idea.
Regarding doing several transactions – if you know that you will be doing this – it’s best to go during a slow time and be polite to those customers behind you. I often let people go in front of me after doing one transaction – or wait till the line dies down before going up.
Thanks for reminding me to think of our newcomers as far as giving tips!
